The judging for LogoLounge Volume 8, has been completed. We are excited with the exceptional quality level of work selected for this eighth volume. This was an incredibly competitive judging session with over 35,000 logos entered for consideration. We are also very pleased to inform you that your work has been chosen for inclusion in the new book by an international panel of judges. This years panel included, Mikey Burton of Mikey Burton Design & Illustration, Quique Ollervides of OLLERVIDES, Katie Kirk of Eight Hour Day, Fraser Davidson of Sweet Crude, Debbie Millman of Sterling Brands, Ty Mattson of Mattson Creative, Mike Abbink of Wolff Olins, and Simon Frouws of Simon Frouws.
For Book 8, there were 35,000 logos submitted for consideration and the caliber of work was exceptional. Each judge reviewed thousands of logos from around the world, each mark submitted by talented LogoLounge members. The final collection is not only an excellent point-in-time examination, it is full to the brim with inspiration, higher thinking, and craftsmanship.
The new book will be released by Rockport Publishers in Spring of 2014. Thank you to all LogoLounge members who participated in this project. We hope that the book, its predecessors, and the web site will continue to feed your mind, inspire your creativity, and further develop your sense of community amongst designers and peers around the globe.
This is an email we’ve got from LogoLounge judge committee, and still can’t believe that even 6 our logos were chosen in LL8 winning selection. We are very proud and happy. Thanks goes to all the judges (very respectable crowd) and to all of our clients who trusted us enough to accept different visual approaches.

We created new visual identity for Lana Klingors company “klinka”- small girl. Kido. Klinka is Event and PR agency, so we decided to make simple nostalgic scene from childhood. It is everyones perfect spot in nature, favorite tree with swing on it… you and stary night.

We joined team from Amodomio agency to make Pro-bono branding for “Brave Telephone” (Hrabri telefon org.) a humanitarian organization for helping abused children by giving im support over the phone. We drawn brave puppy bear that has been also abused but he stands proudly cause he won his fight. Shadow of tedy bear is telephone, presenting the help from that organization.
Our new client is Cirkus!
Cirkus is a small advertising agency with experienced creatives in it. Behind the great agency stands a man, friend and coworker: Vlatko Pejic. We worked together in Grey Worldwide, Bruketa&Zinic OM, and on many projects. We created entire visual identity using face of Lion as a symbol of respect, leadership and one of the most amazing animals in the circus. Cirkus is using powerful and simple typeface; Akzident Bold. Identity is based on Florescent colors that were used on the posters long time ago announcing Circus in your town.
